Part 3 - Winter's Fury
CaediteEos and Dark Side were in shock they survived the bear and leaned up against the wall and drug themselves down until they were sitting. CaediteEos then asks " How is he " , Orochiholic responds saying " His vitals are stable for now but he will never be the same ". The two men went over to Exile which seemed to be in a coma. Orochiholic continued by saying " Wherever he was before the storm really took a toll on him, the Ice spurs only made it worse". Exile was beyond repair and had some infections that would need addresed. Dark Side replied " How on Balor are we going to save this man ". Oro told the two that there was a group of bandits inside the capital that were old friends of his. They had stolen great artifacts that were property of the Aldmors which had the finest technology, if anything could save Exile it was the help of those artifacts. Orochiholic did them a favor in the past in which the bandits would repay him when the time is right. Dark Side offered to stay and watch over Exile while Orochiholic and CaediteEos set out to find the bandits.
The morning after the Storm, the 2 men set out to the Capital. Since they lost thier horses they set out on foot instead. While on their Journey, CaediteEos asks Orochiholic what the huge favor he did for the bandits. Orochiholic started the story. " On a very Beautiful and hot day, I had just finished a very successful hunt gathering up a large amount of fur pelts from wulves , Panthers, and boars and was taking them to the Capital to be sold. That day , once I reached the Capital I decided to walked around to different markets and people to try to sell my pelts for the best possible price ". He said around Dawn when the sun was setting, he was going to leave the city part of the capital and camp out on the outskirts of it until the next day to continue to sell his products. Right before going to sleep, Orochiholic had a feeling something fishy was going on within the city. The capital was complete silence which rarely never happened , not even at night. He went back inside and started sneaking around looking for anything suspicious. He turned corner after corner but seen nothing, Suddenly he heard some noise in the background.
He lurked around another corner and seen a group of thieves working thier way inside a very big and seemed to be luxurious house. The owners of the house were said to be out of town, but that wasn't the case. Orochiholic was said to be a man of great morals, but he was more witty than anything else. Instead of alarming for help he stayed where he was and decided that his greedy ways was going to help him for a change. Orochiholic decided the only way he was going to benefit from the bandits was to compromise them and then to help thier escape, so he draws his bow and aims for the window. Releasing it, he breaks the glass and awakes the owners. The bandits knew they were compromised and started heading out of the house. A bandit name Spectre stayed back, hid behind a corner of the house and killed his victims with a stab to thier vitals. The city guards heard the disturbance and headed in the direction of the noise, once they reached it they seen the bandits trying to escape with some very valuable items. They were just feet away from the bandits charging right towards them, next thing the bandits know the two guards were dead laying right at thier feet with arrows sticking through thier heads.
The 4 bandits looked and saw thier savior standing right at the city gate waiting for them to proceed out of the Capital. The Bandit leader a man named Grendel walked over to Orochiholic and held out his hand waiting for a shake. Grendel then said " Thank you so much for helping our escape, we are in your debt ". Orochiholic smiled and replied saying " We will keep in touch ". After the short conversation, the Bandits and Orochiholic continued out of the Capital and went thier separate ways until the city was calm and safe again.
CaediteEos was in shock by how cunning Orochiholic was but didn't judge him. By the time that night had come the two realized that they surprisingly made great progress and have reached the City Walls of the Capital of Ellos. They decided to camp outside of it, rest, and continue in the morning to find the bandits.
